Beer Drinking

All over the world, there is one thing that many people agree on; their love of beer. Beer brewing has been dated back to the early Sumerian culture. Many people thought beer was a gift from the gods. Many cultures such as the Babylonians, Egyptians, Chinese, Inca, and countless others also have a history of brewing beer, each with their own special ingredients. In 1516, Germany adopted the Reinheitsgebot (German Purity Law). This law stated that beer was only to be made with the purest of ingredients: barley, hops and water. Even today, beer drinking is still as popular as ever. Many beer drinkers like
to incorporate beer games into their social settings. Games like beer pong, where a prize for the winner is drinking beer and a punishment for the loser is drinking beer, makes it seems like everyone wins at the end of the game. Many friends also like to get together and share some beers while singing their favorite drinking songs. With beer being as healthy for you as bread, many beer enthusiasts make beer snacks. These are beer recipes that incorporate beer into the ingredients, and also compliment the taste of beer if eaten while drinking. Many drinkers like to go to a bar or pub and enjoy a nice cold draft beer, or many prefer to be a party amongst friends and drink in a more free spirited setting, such as a house party or a "tailgating" party. It seems like no matter what is going on with the world today, one thing remains true: People still love drinking beer!
